I Heart Creativity!

These are the roses I was talking about the other day...

I put these on my wall just to add some color.

I drew this in class because I was having trouble staying awake...

Then I got really bored...

I love using the natural light in my pictures.

I also made this for a friend. It's a cover for his journaling Bible.

K...so I took a million pictures of this project. But it took me a while to finish because I had to sew it by hand.

Ok, I'll stop boring all of you! Have a wonderful day!

Sickness, School, and Yarn

If this were a normal semester for me at college, I would have my daily planner full of things I need to get done, I'd be running from one class to another, and spending all my "extra" time in the library with a mountain of books. But, because of getting sick right before school started, my load has been significantly lightened.

As posted earlier, I can't take any stairs or play any sports, I'm taking a max of 4 classes, and I sleep all the time. It's not uncommon for me to be having a conversation with Mike then fall asleep half way through a sentence.
In fact, just today I feel asleep next to him on a couch while he was studying for a test.

But, with all this extra time and orders from my doctors and parents to relax and take it easy this semester, I've allowed my new crocheting hobby to take flight. As you've seen in an older post, I've finished my blanket and now I want sore above and beyond with this new found love.

I would love to make this for the 4th of July or my mom's birthday (the 4th of July actually).

This is gorgeous, and I would love to make this for a friend.

Just a little inspiration and color for your Thursday.

What I've been Up to

First Off, just wana say that I got a sweet surprise last night when I logged on to my facebook account.
What did I see? My grandpa friend requested me! This is pretty awesome because, even though he keeps up with technology, I never thought he would ever jump onto the facebook boat, but here he is! Is he not the sweetest thing?

And, here are a few things I've made in the past month...

Remember this?

Well...after much practice, I made this!

It's super warm, and my favorite colors.
I've also been making roses out of fall leaves, but they aren't quite finished yet so I won't upload any pictures. They are very pretty though. Here is an example of what I'm talking about...

And just some inspiration...

Winter is coming...are you ready to get all bundled up?
